We’re helping them find their next Service Engineer, someone who’s hands-on, tech-savvy, and ready to grow with a fast-moving company doing work that matters. You’ll be joining at a key point in their growth, with the chance to shape the role and help build global service capability from the ground up.
If you’re currently based in a major centre (Auckland, Wellington, etc.) and dreaming of a more balanced lifestyle without compromising on career impact- this might be the move you’ve been looking for.
What you’ll be doing
- Commissioning and servicing high-powered EV charging systems
- Troubleshooting and solving real-time issues in the field
- Supporting training and technical documentation
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to refine products
- Being the face of Kwetta, from customer sites to partner training
- Participating in an on-call support roster (1 week every few weeks)
- Registered Electrician (EWRB)
- Strong Level 2 technical support skills (Excel, system diagnostics, ticketing platforms)
- Excellent communicator across phone/email with solid attention to detail
- Experience with power electronics, automation, or industrial systems
- Tech-savvy and eager to develop both hands-on and systems capabilities
- Bonus points: CAD, PLCs, switchboards or international servicing experience
- Trade the traffic for surf, sunshine and cycle trails
