The opportunity

Allco is looking for a BDM to capitalise on high-growth architectural sectors, specifically targeting mid-to-high-end firms. There is also an opportunity for someone to build further relationships with the Chinese architectural market. We are open to your experience. 

You will be the strategic bridge between commercial and residential designs and water-proofing solutions. You’ll be out in the field, meeting with key decision-makers and ensuring the longevity of New Zealand’s built environment.

What you'll do
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a technical advisor to Architects, designers, and drafters.
  • Forge Relationships: Lean on your specification skills to build deep, trust-based relationships across Auckland’s top firms.
  • Strategic Growth: Unlock major new portfolios by positioning Allco as the premier choice for high-end developments.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, guiding projects from the drawing board to the building site.
Who you are

We are looking for a highly experienced, proven consultative architectural person that understands specification sales. You are well known, have established relationships and are motivated by your reputation for providing expert advice that architects value. 
  • Specification experience: You know how to talk to Drafters and Architects. You understand NZ Building Code and long-lead sales cycles - your experience is within technical solutions. 
  • Relationship first: You thrive on meetings and prefer being in front of clients rather than trapped behind a spreadsheet.
  • Technical credibility: You want to know the why behind the membrane to ensure every solution is flawless.
  • Bilingual Proficiency (optional for the right person): We are open to a person that is fluent in Mandarin and English, for an opportunity to engage with major Chinese building firms and development capital.
