About the Company
Tectonus is scaling globally with their unique seismic protection tech. Trusted across NZ, the US, Canada, and Japan, they’re delivering complex builds from schools to hospitals to transport hubs. Backed by top-tier investors, they combine engineering depth with a growth-focused, collaborative culture.
Right now, they’re expanding and looking for a commercially sharp, hands-on Project Manager to help lead the way.

The Role:
You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, pricing, planning, production and client coordination. No two days are the same, and you’ll work closely with engineers, suppliers, and clients.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Own active projects across NZ and North America.
  • Manage pricing and pre-contract scoping with internal teams.
  • Run planning, tracking and reporting through MS Project.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manage timelines, and solve delivery roadblocks.
  • Travel 3–4 weeks per year for client visits (US & Canada).
About you:
You’re practical and commercially minded. You enjoy the balance of client engagement and delivery detail, and thrive in a fast-moving, low-ego team. This role requires someone to manage senior stakeholders, communicate clearly and cross-culturally and have confidence in their ideas and thinking.
You’ll bring:
  • 5+ years in commercial construction or engineering project delivery
  • Expert experience with MS Project + Office suite
  • Strong communication you keep people aligned and projects moving
  • A growth mindset and willingness to build processes as you go
  • PMP or similar certification (preferred)
Why This Role?
This is a chance to join a company with global ambition, working on truly meaningful projects and to build your career in a way that few roles in NZ can offer. You’ll have room to step up, influence the way things are done.
  • Global, meaningful projects.
  • Trusted team with room to grow.
  • Competitive salary.
  • Bonus birthday leave.
  • End-to-end project ownership.
