Growing Leaders Programme

Our leadership development course is designed for owners and senior leaders in growing businesses. 

This hands-on, high-impact course builds leadership capability across communication, trust-building, conflict resolution and leading through change. Participants define the kind of leader they want to be and leave with practical tools they can apply immediately.

Leaders can join one of several open cohorts we run throughout the year, or we can tailor a bespoke version of the programme to suit your team’s specific context and growth goals.

  • How is Sprout People’s leadership development different?

    It’s practical, grounded, and built for growing businesses. We focus on day-to-day leadership behaviours, rather than theory-heavy programmes.

  • What’s the difference between leadership coaching and leadership development programmes?

    Leadership coaching is 1:1 tailored support focused on your specific leadership challenges, helping you reflect, build confidence and change behaviour. Leadership development programmes are structured learning experiences for groups of leaders, focusing on core skills like communication, trust and leading change. Sprout People offers both, so you can choose what best suits your context.

  • What does coaching with Sprout People look like?

    Practical and outcome-focused. Typically we will work with you for six months. We start by understanding the gap between where you want to be and where you are now and design the programme to close the gap - making sure we tackle those core leadership modules that are critical for every leader. 

  • Who delivers Sprout People’s leadership development?

    Our leadership development is delivered by senior practitioners who’ve spent years working alongside founders, CEOs, and leadership teams in real New Zealand businesses.
