Autex Acoustics is a leader in the development and manufacturing of non-woven architectural textiles, supplying an increasingly sophisticated range of products to the building industry. Autex has grown to serve over 18 export markets, with manufacturing and finishing networks in four countries.
Autex is an established business but had never had full time People and Culture support. They had developed silo cultures and were having issues integrating their teams. They also needed to recruit to grow, but had difficulty attracting the right talent.

They had developed silo cultures and were having issues integrating their largely Pasifika production team into the wider Autex culture. They also needed to recruit to grow, but had difficulty attracting the right talent.
In 2019, we met their immediate need by helping to recruit key people, develop their employer brand and connected them with a Pasifika lead to help them unite their teams.
Alongside this we supported them to get clarity on their vision, purpose and values, and embed them into the business. Using these as the north star to bring the disconnected teams together forming a highly connected, collective culture.
From there we focused on lifting leadership capability. Providing existing leaders with coaching and developing their emerging leaders.
