Autex Acoustics is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative acoustic solutions and non-woven architectural textiles. From New Zealand, the business has grown to serve markets around the world, supported by manufacturing and finishing networks across multiple countries.
Problem
As Autex grew, its people needs became increasingly complex. The business had no dedicated People and Culture function, teams were operating in silos, and there was an opportunity to create stronger connection across different parts of the organisation.
Growth was also creating new capability requirements. Autex needed to attract great people into key roles while strengthening the leadership capability, culture and organisational foundations required to support the business as it continued to evolve.
Solution
Our relationship started in 2019, initially supporting Autex with recruitment and employer branding, before quickly expanding into a much broader partnership.
We worked alongside the team to clarify their vision, purpose and values and use these as a foundation for creating greater connection across the business. From there, our work expanded into organisational design, leadership development, coaching, talent planning and ongoing advice on strategic people decisions.
As the business has changed, so has the support. Rather than approaching recruitment, leadership and organisation design as separate problems, we've been able to look across the business and help Autex build the people, capability and structure it needs for what comes next.
