Problem

NILO required a partner who understood deep tech, could recruit across niche disciplines, and could help define the leadership, structure, and culture needed for sustained growth.

Solution

What began as a brief to find hard-to-reach innovators quickly evolved  and we now have a team member embedded as NILO’s Head of People. Working closely with NILO’s leadership, we developed a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract, engage, and evaluate top-tier talent. This included creating ideal candidate profiles, setting salary benchmarks, streamlining the application process, and building a strong pipeline for future growth. Alongside recruitment, we defined NILO’s vision, values, and organisational structure, while working continuously with the team to shape and maintain a bold, innovative culture that supports their mission.

Impact

Since February 2023, we’ve made 14 critical hires across R&D, Engineering, Business Operations, and Commercial Finance. We’ve elevated NILO’s employer brand, defined their purpose and vision, embedded their core values, and built an organisation design ready for scale. Today, we’re leading the search for a Board Chair to guide their next phase of growth.
