General Manager - NZ

We're hiring a hands-on New Zealand General Manager with a clear sales mandate and a pathway to county leadership.

  • South Auckland - On-site | Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm
  • Permanent - base plus commission plus car allowance

Lead and grow Vision Intelligence’s New Zealand business: a market leader in tech-enabled monitoring, security, and site insights. With proven technology, solid track record and supportive backing, you’ll have the autonomy to drive growth and shape the NZ expansion, building out the team as you expand the footprint and customer base.
  
The Company
Vision Intelligence is a technology company specialising in remote site monitoring and security solutions, delivered through a “monitoring-as-a-service” model. The business provides solar-powered systems that integrate hardware, software, and 24/7 monitoring to deliver real-time insights across security, traffic, and environmental applications. Attalis Capital has recently taken a majority stake in the business, supporting Vision Intelligence's future growth and expansion. 
  
The Role
  • Drive B2B sales with a focus on multi-site, multi-year monitoring-as-a-service agreements, aiming to significantly increase the customer base in New Zealand, starting with Auckland.
  • Expand into priority sectors and major development/civil projects; build repeatable account plans and land-and-expand playbooks.
  • Manage day-to-day branch operations (people, safety, fleet, fulfilment) to deliver on customer SLAs and utilisation targets
  • Manage day-to-day branch operations, lead a small but critical team, to deliver on customer SLAs and utilisation targets
  • Own Health & Safety obligations, including monthly compliance sign-offs and structured reporting.
  • Own the profit and loss for New Zealand operations.
The Person
We are looking for an ambitious individual who sees this as a career-defining opportunity to reignite and build a business. We are looking for specific experience in the following.

Essential Background 
    • Demonstrated sales expertise with a strong network in New Zealand, with experience selling into construction, infrastructure, civil, mining, industrial, or government sectors.
    • Experience in SaaS/MaaS/IoT sales with embedded hardware
    • A technical understanding, such as how systems integrate (network and cybersecurity compliance).
Key Traits: Hunger and drive, smart commercial instincts, ability to sell solutions to need, and capable of managing both project-level deployments and elevating to enterprise relationships.
