Evergreen Landcare is seeking a Commercial & Growth Manager to shape strategy, drive growth, and champion client success.
The Company

Their expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including private developments, commercial infrastructure, subdivisions, road construction, and environmental rehabilitation projects such as mine and landfill restoration.
The Role
Reporting directly to the business owner, this role is central to their commercial performance and long-term vision. You’ll combine hands-on commercial leadership, including pricing, tendering, and approvals, with forward-thinking business development and innovation initiatives that position Evergreen Landcare as a market leader.
Based in Pokeno with hybrid working flexibility, you’ll collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure strategic alignment across the business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Commercial and Financial Management: Lead estimation, tendering, and quoting activities while managing invoices, procurement, and financial reporting to drive commercial performance and protect margins.
- Strategic Growth and Innovation: Identify and drive initiatives that create long-term growth, explore new markets and services, and align strategies with Evergreen’s vision and sustainability goals.
- Business Development and Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships, develop future opportunities, and convert tenders and proposals into sustainable revenue.
- Systems, Process, and Innovation: Implement and optimise commercial systems, streamline processes, and leverage technology and data to drive efficiency and innovation.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide commercial leadership across teams, fostering accountability, communication, and financial literacy, while potentially leading support staff.
About you
With a growth mindset and strong commercial acumen, you balance strategic thinking with practical action. You’re comfortable pricing tenders, managing end-to-end commercial processes, building client relationships, and discussing future projects.
Your hands-on, entrepreneurial approach drives insights and efficiencies through new tools and systems. You take ownership of your work, communicate and negotiate effectively, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and put in the hard yards.
