About the Role
As a Senior or Intermediate Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, testing, and implementation of advanced agritech systems. This is a multifaceted role that will span research and development, project management, and hands-on system builds, ensuring our clients solutions are at the forefront of agricultural technology. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects that have a tangible impact on the future of farming.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role:
- Lead prototyping, testing, and design of innovative systems, including nanobubble technology, sonification, electrolysis, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct trials and data collection to build case studies and improve system performance.
- Oversee the physical assembly and testing of systems in-house before deployment.
- Manage procurement, including sourcing parts and obtaining quotes.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (e.g., steelwork fabricators, electrical contractors) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Engage with on-site teams, irrigation companies, and electrical contractors to facilitate installations.
- Support system installations on-site and conduct follow-up visits to ensure optimal performance.
- Transition installations to local partners as part of our long-term strategy.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency across builds and installations.
- Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze data for ongoing trials and case studies.
- A degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) and 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliverables.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and system builds.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, agritech, or wastewater technology is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation.
- Willingness to travel for installations and site visits.
