With a market-leading position in New Zealand, repeat specification in Canada and the US, and first projects in Turkey and Japan, the business has an established footprint and growing market demand.

About the role
Reporting to an engaged Board, you’ll lead an engineering-led business interfacing with commercial construction partners where each project brings different design requirements, manufacturing considerations and customer commitments.
You’ll stay close to the work, support and challenge technical leaders, and make timely decisions that balance technical risk, delivery and commercial performance.
Your priorities will be to:
You may already be a CEO or a General Manager ready for your first CEO role.
You’ll have led engineered-to-order manufacturing or project-based engineering operations. Your background could include structural steel, façades, custom fabrication, industrial equipment or other complex engineered systems.
Commercial construction experience is preferred but not essential.
You’ve owned financial results, improved operations and led people through demanding projects. You understand contracts, variations and project economics, and have the technical credibility to earn the confidence of specialist engineers.
You bring energy, sound judgement and low ego. You can challenge people respectfully, remain calm under pressure and give capable leaders clear direction and accountability.
An engineering qualification is strongly preferred. Experience with commercial construction partners and international suppliers would also be valuable.
